As with the Dyson V10, you can remove the filter from the back of the device by twisting it in an anti-clockwise direction..Some older Dyson tools don’t have a quick-release catch.

This means that you can attach any cleaner head to any of the vacuums..This isn’t necessarily a good idea though.
