I just peeled off the original labels and wrapped these around instead, securing with a dab of hot glue.. Like I said, I used bottles of orange Gatorade, but these can easily be used to bring a festive touch to any orange bottled beverage, or even to juice boxes!.

A nice shape, but really beat up and it was hard to tell if it was real wood or just some kind of press-board with a picture of wood on it.. Well, he brought it home and it was real wood alright.Nothing that heavy could be fake.

It lived in our garage until August when I thought I’d be more motivated to fix it up if it was staring me in the face everyday. So it got moved to the kitchen.I thought I’d get it done once school started up again in September.

Seven months later, it’s finally got a new look..Of course, it’s still sitting on an old uneven floor.

That would explain the cardboard wedged underneath..

But just imagine it once the floors are done and the walls are painted! It’s big and spacious, but it’s still filled with a lot of my junk and some lovely bright green shag carpet on the floor.

We’ll get to that eventually! We want to cut out a bigger hole and add a real door there, but that’s going to be a big project again.

For now, we just added some thicker trim and I painted the door in black chalkboard paint to minimize how much you notice the crookedness of the door.It really worked!
